Two new songs! Recorded as part of the RTITHM sessions, but set aside for separate release, which this here is. You get a rocker and you get a talker. One is Diamond Dave getting his sapphires polished on Jewelers' Row in Philly and the other is more "please use your inside voice, please."

Cover painting is by the inimitable Mr. Hiroshi Kimura, whose work you may recognize from the sleeves of a few Silkworm records or perhaps Aiko Shimada's enchanting Blue Marble album on Tzadik Records. Hiroshi is truly a master and we are honored to cozy up with his sublime vision.

No sleepies, budzzz . . . limited to 300 copies!

1.
I’ve been stuck inside too long Feel a fever coming on Something burning deep inside these hollow visions Haven’t left the house in days I need some sunlight on my face Need to feel the heat of two connected bodies I need to feel that touch of something real and human Because lately I don’t feel too much I watch the people walking by Following rituals of life Moving forward like ants in a lost army How do they love How do they feel How do they hurt How do they heal How do they answer all these questions of existence And will our love survive These questions with no answers And answers that are full of lies You feel what you feel Don’t tell me what is real You feel what you feel Don’t tell me what is real I have my own vision My heart beats its own blood Don’t tell me what this isn’t This isn’t what it was We met in a summer haze Our love burned away those days I believed everything you told me You were a feather floating by You were the air, you were the sky You were real to me but I could never hold you You were never mine You could never hurt me You could never live with a lie
2.
Knee deep in quagmire Putting helmets in the hamlets We were laughing at the myth Of the quiet American They will cut you low They will cut you high No matter where they cut you They will bleed you dry Access Egress Access Egress No more secrets No more secrets Let’s examine the debris Advantage insurrection We inhabit the exurbs They occupy the eddies Generation vendetta Born in a bodybag These wars never end They just smolder on We’ve been cut low We’ve been cut high No matter where they cut us They just bleed us dry
